Wheatland is situated a few hours north of Denver, nestled between Douglas and Cheyenne. The area boasts numerous recreational and picturesque spots, such as Glendo and Guernsey State Parks. The town offers excellent dining options, a nine-hole golf course, and a mini-golf facility.
