Manchester is a small town set in the Green Mountain National Forest in Southern Vermont. The town has plenty of dining options as well as shopping. You can ski, hike, fish, visit historical sites, farmers markets. I love the house's proximity to town and all that it has to offer. The ski mountains are just a short drive away! Manchester Designer Outlets, tons of restaurants (both high end and casual), and the famous Northshire Bookstore are all within walking distance! The closest airport and Amtrak Station are in Albany, NY, which is about 1.5 hours away! My suggestion is to rent a car from Albany and make your way up.
