I am from the East County area in San Diego. I enjoy gardening, working on old cars and reading the newspaper. I like theming properties and trying to make the guest experience enjoyable. I like the town of Julian, Ca for its beauty and history. I like the fact that this is an old gold mine town and that this property is in a historic district that encourages the buildings to reflect architecture from the 1880's to the 1930's. This property was built in 1906 by one of the town "Old Timers" who was a miner, a constable, and the first fire chief for Julian. He knew the founders of the town.

n Julian's Main Street, you can shop at unique boutiques and antique stores, visit historic sites like the Julian Jail and Pioneer Museum, and enjoy local food and drink, including famous apple pie and wine tasting. You can also take a carriage ride or get a self-guided history walk map from Town Hall to see the historic buildings. Gold panning: Pan for gold at the Julian Mining Company in nearby Wynola, which also offers animal encounters and other activities. Hiking and nature: Explore the scenic trails in the nearby Volcan Mountain Wilderness Preserve or other local parks. Wolf Center: Learn about wolves at the California Wolf Center, just a short drive from Julian.
