We are both native San Franciscans who love the outdoors. We were National Park Service park rangers and lived in amazing places such as Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, Sequoia, Rocky Mountains, and Yosemite. Our passion is to enjoy the wild places around the world and marvel at their uniqueness, beauty and intricate balance, as well as meet people from all walks of life.

Morning Star Vista is in the Sierra Foothills on a paved private road. The neighborhood has open pastures surrounded by rolling hills of oak, pine, and manzanita. Most of the neighboring properties are private residences on several acres. Just 10 minutes away is the historic town of Mariposa with many restaurants, bars, gift shops, a grocery store, historic museums, and art galleries. Check out the Mariposa Chamber of Commerce and the Tourism Bureau for more fun things to do in the area. During the hot summer, the Wild and Scenic Merced River is 15 minutes east on Hwy 140 at Briceburg with several deep swimming holes with water flowing from Yosemite Valley.
