This bright 3 bedroom home is set back on a 20 acre wooded lot. Enjoy wildlife & the beauty of the surrounding maples, oaks, and pines! In the woods, yet close to The Culinary Institute, The Roosevelt Historic Site, the Dutchess County Wine Trail, and many other attractions. Tranquility and convenience are here. Neighbourhood information

Traver Road has houses on lots of at least 2 acres, but many houses have 5+ acres. The road is a thoroughfare which connects route 44 from the north to route 55 (by way of Freedom Road - county route 47) in the south. The village of Pleasant Valley is a five minute drive north; the first traffic circle in the business center of Lagrange is a five minute drive to the south. In five minutes drive in either direction you can find groceries, banking, medical care, and a post office. But, when standing in the middle of the property, you can't see the road and someone standing in the road can't see you. There is plenty of parking in LaGrange and Pleasant Valley. Although there are lots of places to walk, hike, and bike, you also want to have a car to get groceries or go to a bank.
