Ride off into the old west at our world-famous historic M Lazy C Ranch! The Settler cabin is a favorite at the M Lazy C Ranch. The Settler is a cozy little cabin nestled in the Colorado Rockies and is featured on the historic M Lazy C Ranch. Once the threshing floor of the original 1906 homestead, it has been renovated with all of the comforts of home including a bathroom. From the moment you arrive on the M Lazy C Ranch you will feel a million miles away from the stress of every day life. Beautiful log cabin! Features spacious great room with a cozy lodge feel, 1 queen bed, 1 bunk bed twins size, 1 loft twin size (for kids), and 1 full bathrooms. NO kitchen, includes small fridge and microwave. With 80 acres of private ranch land surrounding the Settler Cabin it will feel like you have the place to yourself. Enjoy sitting on one of the porches watching elk, antelope, mule deer, big horn ram, or the occasional moose. Star gaze at a magical night sky with more stars than you have ever seen before and a clear view of the milky way. There are over 350,000 acres of Pike National Forest that surrounds the ranch on 3 sides with even more to explore right from the Settler. The water is not potable (not drinkable). It is safe for taking showers and for cooking. We will provide bottles of water upon arrival. We provide 7 wood logs for free but after that we charge one dollar per log. The logs are located outside the cabin inside a chest. We have UTV rental at the property from April 1 to October 15, horseback riding, sleigh rides (coming soon). We are pet friendly with the exception of certain breeds like Pit bulls, German Shepherds, and Rottweilers. 4x4 vehicle will be needed during winter months due to terrain conditions when it snows.
