Welcome to Funshine Sunset Beach, located just steps from the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. We are located on the second floor of a small, friendly building directly across the street from the beach and the heated community pool. In the evenings, nothing is better than sitting out on the balcony listening to the water and watching the sunset while sipping a drink. This unique place has a style all its own.

I moved to Florida over 15 years ago from New Jersey and I'm so happy I did. I love the beach, the nightlife and visiting Disney World. I have been working from home since 2003 and I love to travel and work from anywhere. When I'm home we like to visit different restaurants and attend concerts. But nothing is better than a day spent on Treasure Island with a book and a drink soaking up the sun.

Sunset Beach is located on the south end of Treasure Island. It's a quiet area with very close access to the beach. Find good Mexican food at the VIP Lounge or Taco Bus (which has vegan and gluten-free entrees). For date-night options, check out Middle Grounds Grill or BRGR Kitchen + Bar which you’ll find at the chic Treasure Island Beach Resort. For breakfast, get a hearty, diner-style plate at Foxy’s Cafe. The Treasure Island Beach Trail is a mile long walkway along the east side of the beach giving you easy access to restaurants, bars and downtown with several clothing stores, a drug store, liquor store, florist, restaurants, bars and a grocery store. You can also go for a short drive and check out the neighboring St. Petersburg and Tampa as well as Central Florida’s major theme parks with Disney World just an hour and 40 minutes away. Guests will receive one parking pass for their use during their stay.
