We're local North Carolinians and know the Asheville area well! Both of us formerly worked for several outdoor companies located in the Western Mountains of NC, so we know the National Park and National Forest areas well. We are also avid cyclists and have cycled along the Blue Ridge Parkway together on many occasions. We love Asheville and hope to share our love of our city and outdoor region with you!

Welcome to Oakland Cottage B&B, circa 1910. Just 1 mile to the entrance to the Biltmore Estate and Biltmore Village; 1 mile to downtown Asheville; 1/2 mile to River Arts District and the "South Slope" (craft beer tasting mecca); 3 miles to Blue Ridge National Park and Parkway entrance. After the "crash" in the late 20's, Oakland Cottage and the home next door both became Hospital Wards. The brass numbers on the room doors are from that era. Also look for remnants of the funky doorbell system! Asheville was once considered a place to rest and recover from ailments, because of the fresh mountain air!
