We fell in love with Kauai and the Poipu area years ago. We were married on Shipwreck Beach and over the years Poipu has been a favorite place for family vacations. It holds a special place in our hearts. We have so many wonderful family memories in Poipu and we enjoy being able to help our guests create wonderful lasting memories as well.

Koloa and Poipu have many wonderful places with beautiful beaches, awe-inspiring ocean-view cliff hikes, quaint historic Old Koloa Town, amazing restaurants and great shopping. Brennecke's Beach is right in front of our home. It is part of Poipu Beach Park, which is generally referred to as Poipu Beach, a series of four sandy beaches located on Kauai's dry, sunny south shore.  The other beaches include a calm beach (Baby Beach) that is a wonderful place for small children, a couple of great snorkeling areas, and a good beach to learn surfing.  These beaches also frequently have honu (sea turtles) and Hawaiian monk seals lounging on them. It is an honor to view these endangered species. Be sure to give them their space (minimum 50 ft) and enjoy them from a distance. Poipu Beach Park also has picnic tables, BBQ areas and a fun playground. There are several good restaurants within walking distance and many within a few minutes drive.  Shopping is also a few minutes away by car, either in the upscale Poipu or Kukuiula Shopping Centers or in quaint Old Town Koloa just two miles away. The Spouting Horn is a short drive away as is Makauwahi Cave Reserve. Waimea Canyon, the grand canyon of Hawaii, is a majestic wonder with beautiful hikes and amazing scenery. It is about a 45 minute drive from our home.
