We’re close to downtown Sandpoint, Schweitzer Mountain Resort, and Silverwood Theme Park—perfect for both adventure and relaxation. Please note: Our guest suite is attached to our family home. You may occasionally see us or our two kids enjoying the backyard, though we always respect your privacy. Trains have been part of Sandpoint’s history since the late 1800s, and you may hear them pass by from time to time. Lake levels drop in October and return in late May/early June, which can make the inlet shallow during those months. Guest Access: You’ll share the driveway, backyard, dock, beach area, and playground with us. Please park on the left side of the driveway, marked by a white post with a black-and-gold Guest Parking sign. To enter the suite, follow the path under the porch, past the garage side door. During Your Stay: We live onsite and are happy to help with anything you need—otherwise, we let you enjoy the space as privately as you prefer. You may hear the natural sounds of a family home, especially in the summer months. The Area: Our peaceful neighborhood is perfect for morning walks or bike rides and is just minutes from town. With the lake right in the backyard, guests can enjoy swimming, fishing, paddleboarding, kayaking, or simply relaxing by the water. We’re a friendly family of four who share our home with one dog, two cats, two bunnies, and a small flock of backyard chickens. We live onsite and are always available if you need anything during your stay. The yard, dock, beach, and playground are shared spaces—feel free to enjoy them at your leisure. Our kids love meeting new friends, but we always respect your privacy and let you decide if or when you’d like to interact. Because this is our family home, you may occasionally hear normal household or outdoor activity, especially during the summer months. We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy our relaxed, welcoming environment.
