Red Bird Retreat is just outside Banner Elk, beside Beech Mountain, convenient to Boone, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain, Sugar Mountain, Valle Crucis, and Watauga Lake. Both Elk River and the Watauga River are also nearby. The Lodges at Eagles Nest offers premier community amenities and nature-based activities appealing to all ages and interests. The house is a large 3BR/3.5BA mountain home with a hot tub, a huge covered rear porch with a stainless gas grill, and an outdoor living and dining area tucked away on a mostly-level landscaped lot with a huge fire pit surrounded by mature hardwood trees. The main level has wide plank wood floors and tall vaulted ceilings with exposed beams, exuding mountain luxury. The kitchen features Quartz counters, brushed nickel appliances, a gas cooktop, and ample custom cabinetry. The center island offers three (3) barstool seats for extra dining and casual gathering. The adjacent dining table seats eight (8) more accommodating eleven (11) guests. The great room features soaring vaulted ceilings, a stone gas log fireplace, comfortable suede and leather furniture, and an HD Smart TV. A laundry room with a washer and dryer and a half bath/powder room are on the main level.
