Hello! My name is Kris. Starting Riverbend Retreat-Fla. has been a long-time dream of mine. The idea of a setting that fosters a little rest and recreation. Once I found this home, I knew it was the one to transform that dream into reality. The natural beauty and riverside view created such a sense of peace and serenity as well as a fantastic, spacious area for recreational activities. Thus, Riverbend Retreat - Fla. came to be. The property was purchased in Dec. 2017 and we have repainted, resealed the oak floors and cabinets, resurfaced the pool and rebuilt the deck. It looks like an old-style house, but it feels fresh and new. We are a fully licensed Bed & Breakfast and members of the Florida Association of the Florida Hotel and Lodging Association. When my husband, Bob, and I are here, we are happy to be available to you. We are friendly, yet professional. Bob and I are both in our 60s and still work full-time. Riverbend Retreat is a convenient hideaway just a mile off I-75 and near to plenty of shopping, restaurants, and entertainment, yet secluded by the Alafia River on two sides and an 80-acre preserve on another. We are about 25-minutes from large, popular attractions such as Busch Gardens and ZooTampa at Lowry Park. Other nearby attractions include GQT Riverview 14 GDX, iFLY, and TopGolf. Some of our favorite local restaurants are Shrimp Boat Grill, Stonewood Grill & Tavern and Circles. For nightlife and drinks, we highly recommend Keel and Curley Winery - one of the top winery destinations anywhere in the United States!
