Summer or winter, this quiet home makes a beautiful base for family-friendly adventures. This two-story farm home sits six miles southwest of downtown Baraboo, looking out across the surrounding hills. You'll be only eight miles from Circus World (celebrating Baraboo as the historical home of the Ringling Brothers) and nine miles from Devil's Lake State Park with its 360-acre lake, 500-foot quartzite bluffs, and nearly 30 miles of hiking trails. Begin each summer day on the deck with a cup of coffee and a view of the rural setting. It's the perfect spot to return to in the afternoons to barbecue, dine alfresco at the table, and admire the golden hour light. Exposed ceiling beams bring rustic charm into the living spaces. Enjoy a well-equipped kitchen, a dining table where you can set up board games after dinner, and a TV to watch your favorite movies on DVD. If you require internet services, the Internet is NOT available. We provide a good number of DVDs. The bedrooms are upstairs, with a Pack' N Play and a booster seat for your littlest travelers. Things to Know This is a much-loved older building, (a 170-year-old restored grainery on a 125-acre farm). While we work very hard to keep the place clean, it’s possible you may see wildlife in the yard and the occasional outdoor insects making an indoor appearance. If that makes you squeamish, this is not the booking for you! There is no washer/dryer here. Cell reception can be spotty. This property is managed by Vacasa Wisconsin LLC.

No dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Vacasa approval. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to 3,000 dollars of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
