Fulfilling a 25 year long dream to own a B&B. I love being inventive in the kitchen, creating many of our breakfast menus. Gardening and decorating are my passions. I enjoy reading, researching and enjoying our interesting guests who stay with us. I adore being a hostess! Playing the tour guide and suggesting local favorites is especially fun.

My greatest joy is sharing our charming 1856 Antebellum home in historic Independence, Missouri. Garden courtyard with fountain for relaxation. Newly decorated screen porch includes spa tub. Two unique rooms and one 2 room suite in main House professionally decorated with outstanding modern amenities. 2 Private cottages. "Beach Cottage" decorated in nautical theme. "Wren Cottage" decor is relaxed English cottage style. Handicapped accessible property. Stay with us and experience history!

Our neighborhood is adjacent to museums, and our historic square which is home to a variety of local restaurants and delightful shops full of treasures galore, and antique shops. Conveniently located to Truman sites, Kansas City stadiums, Kansas City arts, Music, and The Plaza. Easy access from 3 major highways.
