Sugar Mountain is such a beautiful place to plan a winter ski trip or a downhill mountain biking summer spree (ski lift takes your bike to the summit). The best way to enjoy your carefree days is when the slopes are right outside your backdoor! This cozy roundhouse has been completed renovated (2021) with new upstairs bathrooms, downstairs family bedroom, central A/C, and enlarged parking is the perfect ski-in ski-out location; ski right from the door of the lower family room! Being right on the slopes, you might just fall off the couch with a bellyaching laugh as you watch all the nighttime skiers ‘fly by outside’ through this home’s massive windows. A small full kitchen has everything you need to enjoy an evening with the family and the wraparound deck will give you amazing views of the mountain and early morning wildlife. In summer, enjoy the bike park and scenic chairlift on Memorial Day weekend, July 4th weekend through Labor Day weekend, Octoberfest, and Wooly Worm Festival in Banner Elk.

No dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Vacasa approval. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximun occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices -not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors! Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
