We travel regularly and are also guests at other short-term rentals, so we know what you need when you are traveling and try to meet those needs wherever we can. We own several other properties in the Beaufort and Port Royal area. Because we own the property next door to The Workshop, Gallery 1897, we can also accomodate larger parties.

The Workshop is set in the middle of Beaufort's Historic District. It is only a 7-8 minute walk to Bay Street (Restaurants, bars and shops), the marina and Waterfront Park (where a number of festivals take place throughout the year). The neighborhood is generally quiet and great for walks. There is a public playground and park located just next to the property. There is free off-street parking right next to the house. There is room for 3-4 cars and the parking area is shared with the house next door. Please do not block the driveway as there is a business and a home in back that need access. Please Do NOT park in front of the house next to the sidewalk.
