My home is unique in every way. To begin with, there are 4 bedrooms. Three of the bedrooms have Queen Sized Beds and the 4th Bedroom (with the brick fireplace in it) has a California King Sized Bed. The house is full of antiques and art and lovely furniture and furnishings. The home has a Spanish and Mexican feel as well as a general European feel and sensibility. The outside pool area is gorgeous with tons of vintage Talavera Mexican Tiles and Spanish & Mexican Furniture. There is a large handpainted mural by the outside dining set. I could go on but I do believe that the photos say it all.
Hi there. My name is Lori and I enjoy buying, renovating and furnishing vintage (and only vintage) homes. I love to cook and I am a vegan. I grow my own vegetables and herbs at my main home. My children are grown (3 of them.) I love shopping for art and furniture. I have a particular love of vintage pottery as well as modern and contemporary pottery. I make gorgeous holiday ornaments out of vintage jewelry, crystals, findings, charms, baubles and beads. I give them away as special gifts every holiday season.
What guests like about the neighborhood is that it is a pocket of almost exclusively Vintage Homes. I recommend driving up in the hills off of Columbus Avenue to see some absolutely gorgeous and huge estates and homes. Some well over 100 years old.
