Melinda's House is located on Mount Pleasant over Hope Bay. It is at the end of a short road going downhill so you cannot see the Bay. You can hear it tho'. Across from me and going down the hill on the East side is a resort where, if you walk in you can see down to the Bay. It is closed off from the road so you cannot see in by a tall gate and there are people who care for that property that live in the Gate House so you are not totally cut off from other people. There is also a neighbor living in a house on the West side of my property who run Mac's Pizza Restaurant . It is usually the quieter area of the island with no bars or restaurants in the area .

I live in the states and have a wonderful woman whom I have known since her birth and trust completely who manages the house and will be your contact for any questions or issues you may have. Her family also run Challenger Taxi service, the yellow pick-up trucks, and also rent cars at a reasonable rate. I arrived on Bequia in the 1970's on a boat and stayed for many years . I was a founding member of the Bequia Sailing Club and raced with a local team fo 10 years. I also am a stained glass artist and you will see my workin my house, windows and lamps , and also have my work at the Frangipani Hotel and other houses. I have 40 years worth of my glass work in the 24 memorial windows in the Anglican Church in the Harbor.

Guests like the location for the quietness and privacy . It is secluded but , as mentioned in the first section, not completely cut off from the neighbors and within ear shot of other people.
