Our summer house has everything you could need or expect in your own home. There is a large outside space with a kitchen, a dining and chilling area big enough for 12, a bar you can serve your own drinks in or do your own bbq, and a luscious tropical garden. It's a great place for entertaining and perfect for groups or families that want their own private space at an affordable price. It is finished and furnished to a high standard which makes it unique, you can get the comfort you would expect at a resort but you get the experience you would expect from a local homestay. An oasis of calm where you can switch off and enjoy your own private space right in the middle of a Vietnamese village just meters from the beach. A home from home.

We live a few minutes away so it's easy for us to pop by and help you out. Usually, you will be greeted and looked after by Nam, a local guy that has been part of the Life's a beach family for many years, he has a lot of experience in hospitality and loves meeting new people, he will help you settle into your new home and show you around the village and introduce you to the real Vietnam.

Situated 50 meters from the nearest beach, our home is in the middle of a real Vietnamese fishing village, this village is surrounded on all sides by beaches, it is very close to Ky Co beach which is a favourite location for Vietnamese travelers rumored as the best beach in Vietnam and El Gio famous as the best place to see the sunrise is just a 10 minute walk away, you can enjoy local life and experience a side of Vietnam not many people get to see, our guests enjoy cycling around the village waving to the kids that are curious to see new people, going to the market every morning for fruit veg and meat, or riding to the bakers to get some fresh bread. The village is small but there are many places to buy street food, grab a coffee or sugar cane juice and see the local life. Just a 10 minute walk away there are several good standard restaurants just in case you don't want to cook in your own kitchen, there are boat trips to islands and lots of snorkeling opportunities. To sum up, this is the real Vietnam with all the good and bad bits, if nobody speaking English scares you or if the village sounds like cockerels or family life will bother you this is not the place for you.
