I fell in love with this place the first time I came here and decided to rent it and opened The Lake House Dalat with a friend. We kept all the buildings, the garden as it was, and added simple decorations and furnitures only. But you may need to consider as it is not convenient with shared-bathrooms, messy garden and some insects, but it's totally save. Here we do compost, reuse bags, no plasstic bottle, no chemichal pestisides in the garden. This place is a magic for me as it brings me many friends all over the world. We shared our stories, we learn from each other and we still keep the connection. I hope you can enjoy the peace and the beauty here as we do, from the lake, the garden, and the song from the Monastery nearby. One of our volunteer made us a sign "Life is better at The Lake House", I do hope we can share it with you.

We are close to Truc Lam monastery, which is an amazing place, with nice garden and forest. You can ask the monks or nuns to join with them for meditation during the day too. It is a very unique experience to spend a day with them and see how they live and enjoy the calm living.
