Papaya Villa is located on a private estate with over 1.6 kilometers of truly pristine oceanfront. Guests are treated to their own private beaches, reef and snorkelling ... set among palm trees and pandanus on the beach, Papaya Villa is a true tropical island paradise. Papaya Villa has some of the best beaches on Efate with white sand and aqua blue water. The gardens are manicured and includes a huge nakamal and privatewhere guests can chill, read, and take a siesta with the sand between their toes. We are eco friendly harvesting our own power and water, and processing our own waste. We are well known for our Island and Caribbean Food, and you can even take a cooking class while you are here!

Hosts, Marcus and Shoran have been in the hospitality industry for over 40 years and simply love to share their dream piece of paradise. Marcus designed Papaya Villa, inspired by Caribbean and Portuguese architecture. Currently finishing his first cookbook, Marcus' passion for food shines through and delights guests every night with a Caribbean or Portuguese classic, or maybe something that caught his eye at the markets... Guests mostly come to Papaya Villa to take a well-earned break from their hectic lives. Privacy and even romance are the order of the day at the Villa.

Papaya Villa is located on 1.6 kilometers of pristine privately held beachfront, palm trees and coral coves tucked away in an old copra plantation. Eton Reef is renowned for it’s white sandy beaches and pristine reef. You can freely snorkel and see beautiful natural coral.
