Meet Your Hosts This home is cared for by a family of four; each one of us bringing something unique into the space you’ll be staying in. 🏛️ Merita Behluli, our mother, is an architect with a deep love for clean design, simplicity, and light. Every piece of furniture, every layout decision, carries her care and intentionality. Her eye for detail makes this space not only functional, but harmonious and grounded — a place where everything makes sense, visually and practically. 🎨 Mehmet Behluli, our father, is a well-known artist and professor based in Prishtina. The paintings throughout the apartment are his — part of a decades-long journey in contemporary art, exhibited across Europe. He’s also been deeply involved in shaping Kosovo’s cultural scene through teaching, curating, and initiating landmark projects like Missing Identity and Rhizoma. His work gives the apartment a quiet, reflective soul. 🌞 Paulina, my sister, is based in Berlin but she’s our harmony — our Shyhret, as family friend Veton Ora called her when she was just a child. She brings joy, energy, and an emotional thread that ties us all together. Even from afar, her presence is felt here. 🌿 Renea (that’s me -- your host!) is a cultural worker and researcher rooted in Lisbon but constantly in movement. I’m passionate about creating spaces that feel warm, real, and connected. Hosting is about offering people a soft landing, a slice of calm, and an entry point into the layered life of this crazy and beautiful city.
