3 Queen Street is a stand-alone property and the house and its facilities are for the private and exclusive use of guests. Guests who book the house will have the whole house to themselves for the amount of persons booked. The house is not shared with the host or other guest. Located in Calitzdorp's historic Queen Street, this immaculately restored and furnished Karoo-style house offers the opportunity to experience Calitzdorp and the Klein Karoo from your own self-contained base. Build in 1915 and extensively restored with most of the Victorian and Edwardian features intact the house offers a range of features to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The two bedrooms are air-conditioned with extra length king size beds and fitted with high quality cotton bed linen. The main bedroom is en-suite, while the second bedroom is served by a shower room & toilet and includes towels, soaps and shampoos. The kitchen and dining room is fully equipped, while the lounge offers free Wi-Fi and live/satellite television. A washing machine, drying rack, ironing board and iron is available. The house is fitted with solar backup to reduce the impact of power outages and loadshedding. Kids & pets are welcome by prior arrangement.

Whilst the house is managed on a no-contact basis, your host lives nearby and is available to welcome you and provide information on the town and region and to help you to make your stay as memorable as possible. It is up to you to reach out to your host to meet him in person for a chat or glass of wine.

Calitzdorp and the Klein Karoo offers many magical discoveries for those who take the time and make an effort. Information about the town and the region is available from local tourist offices in most of the towns and are easily located. The Calitzdorp Tourism Office is located at the back of the church in Van Riebeeck street. Also ask your host who will be able to assist you with advise on the attractions in the town and area, where to eat and what to see.
