This spacious and clean 50m² self-contained flat is set in a quiet, tranquil suburb of Shelly Beach. Situated as a separate flat beneath the main house, the unit features a private entrance, a bright living area with a large window, and secure parking. Vehicles are parked behind a motorised gate, with a CCTV camera overlooking the area. Ideal for holidaymakers and travelling business professionals.
Once through the entrance courtyard, the open-plan lounge includes seating, a large-screen TV, free WiFi, air-conditioning, and a ceiling fan. A single bed in this area accommodates a third guest or child. The kitchenette is fully equipped with cutlery, crockery, a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, air-fryer, electric pan and wash-up area.
The separate bedroom features a double bed, bedside lamps, ceiling fan, and seating. A dressing room provides a dresser unit and two spacious cupboards. The ensuite bathroom offers a corner bath, corner shower, wash basin/cabinet and toilet.
The entire unit is tiled, allowing for clean hygenic living.
Guests have access to the entrance courtyard, and the front garden of the property for smoking or relaxation, and enjoy natural tranquillity with fountains, birds and frogs. A portable braai is available on request, with camping chairs for use in the courtyard area.
The property includes a 5000 litre water storage tank and solar power—ideal for South Coast load-shedding or water-supply interruptions.
The property is situated only 5 minutes from the Shelly Beach Ski Boat Club, the beaches and tidal pool, and the Shelly Centre Mall and South Coast Mall.
Once booked in, we can discuss housekeeping and other services. It is suggetsed that laundry is done at one of the local laundry services.
The property is owned by Claude and Griselda Naude. We've been involved with the South Coast for much of the last thirty years, as property and business owners, and active members of the community. We are both scuba divers, and animal lovers. On the property we have three jack-russels and an African grey. At the property we employ staff to assist with cleaning, maintenence and the gardens. Over the years the apartment has been used for friends, family and who-ever else needed a place to stay. Recently we started hiring it out to the public. Our intention is to make your stay in the property as enjoyable as possible. While the place is quite organised, with every visitor, we listen to suggestions, and try to implement workable suggestions as efficiently as possible. Enjoy your stay! Shelly Beach is a mix of quiet residential living and bustling shopping centres. We five minutes from the Shelly Beach Ski Boat Club and harbour, where you can dine, book fishing and ocean trips, and scuba dive the famous Protea Banks, known world-wide for its shark sightings. The open beaches and tidal pool make this a definite day event for all. Five minutes from the South Coast Mall and the Shelly Centre, both modern facilities with large retail stores, restaurants and ample parking, there is alot to do, especially on rainy days. Ten minutes to the south is St. Michaels's Beach, world-reknown hot surf spot and beach, and then Margate Beach a bit further down the coast. The South Coast extends from Hibberdeen in the north, to Port Edward in the south, with more than twenty recognised beaches in between. There is a folder in the apartment with specific information and brocures, but with Google and all the other social media platforms that are available, there is alot to do while on holiday on the South Coast.
