Almondbury Cottage is located in one of the most beautiful areas of the Southern Suburbs in Cape Town. Zwaanswyk is an upmarket suburb, unique and very safe. The cottage is spacious and light with a beautiful garden and pool area. Completely fenced in and surrounded by hedges for privacy and freedom of mind to let the children play and run around.
We arrived in Cape Town in 2005 and never looked back again. Robert and I (Diana) met in Freiburg (Germany) where we ran a coffee bar and a night club. With the birth of our first son Benjamin in 2003 we decided to start our live as a family with children all over again in one of the most beautiful countries in the world. South Africa! In 2007 we welcomed our second son Jacob to the family and moved to Zwaanswyk. We have fallen in love with this area as we love the space but also the fact to be very close to all amenities like grocery shops, restaurants, wine farms and for Diana most important of all the Virgin Active gym :-)
Zwaanswyk is neighboring famous Steenberg golf estate with its stylish restaurants the Bistro 1682 and Catharinas and Constantia uitsig one of the best winefarms in the area. There are three golf courses nearby and the brand new Southern Suburbs attraction The Noval Foundation art gallery!
