Located in Mossel Bay, Avenues Guesthouse features a saltwater swimming pool. The property is 1.3 km away from the Mossel Bay Golf Course. The individually decorated rooms at Avenues Guesthouse have en-suite bathroom and are equipped with a safe, hairdryer, TV and tea-and-coffee making facilities. On our numerous trips through beautiful South Africa we could collect a colourful bunch of experiences - and we love to share them with our guests since we bought Avenues Guesthouse in 2006! We both are keen sailors and love to be in, on and close to the sea.

To start with: What's the difference between a hotel and Avenues Guesthouse? A hotel is usually run by hired staff. Avenues Guesthouse is run by its owners, Meike & Martin. Our guests stay in our own house and home, they are welcomed by us, we serve them breakfast, we give helpful information and advise and say goodbye to them again on the day of departure. We decorate our house and the guestrooms to our own taste, we do the maintenance ourselves - so we put our heart and soul into being your hosts. Our passion is not only to own and run Avenues Guesthouse, but to enjoy the interactions with you. And we hope you'll like it, too!

Avenues Guesthouse is situated in a very nice, quiet residential area right on top of Mossel Bay, just 2 kilometers away from the city center with the tourism office, shops, restaurants and sightseeing spots. Please note: Mossel Bay is steep, doesn't offer public transport and has very limited Uber services! So own transport (i. e. a rental car) is highly recommended to avoid disappointments!

Avenues Guesthouse is unable to accommodate arrivals after 7:00 PM. We do not offer microwaves, self-catering facilities or barbecue / braai facilities. A communal fridge is available in the lounge for guests to use. Parking is limited to one vehicle per room/unit. Only vehicles with up to 8 seats are permitted. Trailers may be parked by prior arrangement only.
