Bhangazi Lodge is a four star bed and breakfast establishment providing guests with a true taste of Africa. The bedrooms are named after African animals, and each is equipped with an outdoor patio, en-suite shower & toilet, TV and tea-and-coffee making facilities. All rooms have air-conditioners. Breakfast is overseen by Simon, and his aim is to ensure that no one starts their day hungry - you will find fruit salad with a choice of yogurts, muffins, pancakes and a selection of cold meats and cheese to get you started, followed by a cooked breakfast - a range of sausages including chicken or veggie, bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes or try one of our everything omelettes! The main area has a large collection of African arts and crafts, there is a shared lounge with ample seating or a covered outside seating area where guest can relax. Cool down by the pool after a busy day.

Simon & Mandy are both immigrants to South Africa, originating from the UK they have a passion for wildlife and a good knowledge of the different areas and cultures. St Lucia is a unique town surrounded by the first world heritage site to be declared in South Africa. Bhangazi Lodge is situated on a quiet street within walking distance to the main high street where you will find a number of restaurants and local shops. Depending on the time of the year it is possible to see the mighty humpback whales migrating along the coast, or turtles laying their eggs. Later in the season, turtle hatchlings can be viewed making their way to the sea. The big 5 can be viewed all year round at Hluhluwe iMifolozi game park one of the oldest game parks in South Africa, just 1 hours drive from St Lucia. Snorkel at Cape Vidal in the warm Indian ocean and don't forget our most famous residents, the Hippos, who can be seen roaming the streets at night.
