The 2 chalets constituting "Champagne Haven" are part of the Mount Champagne Resort. This resort is the best kept secret in the Central Drakensberg as it has stunning views, magnificent chalets, is extremely well managed and even when booked to capacity never feels crowded. Chalet No. 6 has just been re-built and is chic and modern, whilst Chalet No. 11 features the more traditional "Berg" decor. Both chalets are serviced daily and offer everything needed for an extremely comfortable, relaxing stay in "paradise".
I really enjoy communicating with my guests and am always available to assist in any way possible.
The Mt. Champagne resort is nestled in a valley in the Monks Cowl area of the Drakensberg. It has stunning views of the Monks Cowl, Champagne Peak and the Drakensberg Mountain range. Activities include nearby hikes, on site canoeing and fishing in a pristine dam. There is a stunning pool and trampoline as well as a jungle gym and kiddies play equipment. Also an on-site tennis court which includes a pickle ball court. At the adjacent resort there are daily horse rides available. The Dragon Peaks restaurant is a mere 5 min walk away and features an excellent cuisine.
