A quaint cottage stay on a working-farm. The cottage sleeps 8 people. Feel free to walk around the farm lands, wonder down to the dam, catch some fish and just enjoy being away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The property is a stand alone house, with good fencing so your pets can join you for your stay. There is undercover parking for 2 cars, but there is space for more cars to park inside the fence.
Claymore Country Cottage is 5km off the N3 toll route. It is 11km from the town of Winterton and 35km away from the central Drakensberg. The farming area is safe and quiet, with lots to do and see close by. It is perfectly located close to the highway for overnight stays for those just travelling through. It is also a 35 minute drive to the Drakensberg where there are various hikes you can do from Monks Cowl, visit Falcon Ridge or just enjoy some time out at Valley Bakery, one of the many places to eat at and see while in the area.
