This beautifully positioned property (opposite a dam and bird sanctuary) has lots of space, light and greenery. The units themselves have recently been lovingly renovated and decorated, and the garden remains a constant yet enjoyable work-in -progress. There are 2 accommodation options available: Stinkwood Corner is a private, self-catering unit with its own garden for 2 people. Lemon Tree Place is a large bedroom suite for 2 people with separate entrance, patio and en-suite bathroom. Both units offer air-conditioning, tea, coffee, water, refreshments, DSTV and your own private security system for each unit.
We are Viv and Cathy and we've lived in Franschhoek for the past 15 years. We absolutely love our area and are deeply grateful for the opportunity to live in this part of the world. We enjoy walking in the vicinity, working in our garden when possible, and entertaining. You are welcome to find our a lot more about us on our 'inspiredbytuesday' website.
We are situated in a part of Franschhoek where the roads are wide (actually the widest road in town) and the properties are also very spacious. We have a beautiful bird sanctuary with a large dam and walking paths just over the road from us - so the magnificent view in the evening is the orange sun setting over the dam. Locals are friendly and there are lots of people walking with dogs and/or strollers and generally enjoying the surrounding beauty. During the week it does have occasions of bustle with people working on their properties and gardens.
