"Die Bloekomhuis" is a quaint homely wooden cabin for two, situated in the heart of Baviaanshoek, 50km outside of the beautiful town of Ceres. Delight in a full farm experience by waking up to a rooster crowing, start your own donkey geyser for a hot shower and enjoy a cup of coffee while you take in the peaceful views of vast fields and the majestic Baviaans Mountains. As the day comes to an end, be entertained by the bleating of playful lambs jumping into the warm golden sunsets. Light a bush fire and end the night staring at the stars, and if you are fortunate, witness the full moon rising. If you can thrive at a relatively low temperature, then our winters are for you. Wrap yourself up in a cozy blanket, some hot chocolate in hand, maybe a good book or two and take in the serene snow-capped mountains. "Die Bloekomhuis" is on a working Sheep Farm that is 100% Solar Powered. Our animals are free ranging sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, horses and cattle and most of them will definitely want to say hi as they are very spoilt for attention.
