It is a diverse and welcoming community, making it a popular destination for tourists, business travelers, and locals seeking an authentic experience in the heart of Johannesburg. The neighborhood embodies the true essence of a vibrant and multicultural city, offering a unique energy that captivates visitors.

Property information

Emmarentia Guest House is located in a leafy and lush suburb, referred to fondly by locals as the ‘Green Heart’ of Johannesburg. The guesthouse is in close proximity to Emmarentia Dam, the Johannesburg Botanical Gardens, and the vibrant and social Parks areas including Greenside, Parkhurst and Melville. It is also conveniently located for certain sports facilities including and Mark's Park Sports Club, Parkview Golf Course and the Country Club of Johannesburg in Auckland Park. The guesthouse includes 5 spacious ensuite bedrooms, as well as two optional self-catering apartments. Within the guest house, there are 2 bedrooms downstairs and 3 bedrooms upstairs, each of which has an ensuite bathroom with a shower. Each of the self-catering apartments has its own private entrance and a terrace onto the garden, ideal for longer stays. The garden is very well kept, with a large lawn, well-established trees, beautiful flower beds, a large outdoor covered patio and a swimming pool. For guests staying on a Bed and Breakfast basis, a full, a la Carte, English-style breakfast is offered in our dining area, overlooking the patio, swimming pool and expansive garden. Each of our rooms is equipped with free wifi, air conditioning, a hair dryer and satellite television. The property has around the clock security and plenty of secure off-street parking. Regrettably no children under the age of 12 years.
