Forest Glades is a hidden gem in the picturesque countryside, conveniently located 20 minutes from Knysna. The cottage is the perfect hideaway to relax and unwind. It caters for couples wanting a romantic getaway, nature lovers, and families wanting a soul cleansing, unique escape into nature.  We offer self catering accommodation set in a tranquil glade surrounded by indigenous forest. The cottage is privately positioned, comfortable and spacious. There is a well equipped kitchen, a lounge with a smart TV, two comfortable bedrooms and a bathroom with a lovely walk-in shower.  There is a private elevated deck with a braai facility and very comfortable outdoor furniture.  The deck overlooks the glade and forest, here you can relax and unwind to the sound of birdsong. We are completely off-grid and rely on the rain for water, and the sun for electricity. This means that there will be no loadshedding during your stay. There is a lovely forest walking trail that guests can explore. We are situated in a conservancy and are privileged to have free roaming wildlife. There is a large variety of birdlife including the Knysna Lourie and fish eagles. It's a bird watchers paradise so don't forget your binoculars.  We are only 25 minutes from beautiful beaches, day hikes and picnic spots in the National forest. Pets are welcome.
