Echoing the natural Free State beauty this gem captures the essence of comfort and welcomes complete unwinding surrounded by majestic trees along the river bank. There are 5 self-catering units available which sleeps 4 persons, only 22km off the N1, the perfect stop en route for an unforgettable country break-away PLEASE NOTE: Guests will travel a substantial piece of dirt road which can be muddy during rainy spells, also crossing a low water bridge. Small vehicles may have issues when the conditions are wet. We are situated 22kms off N1 and not at the pin location of the website as Google Maps cannot register our farm. Directions (pin unreliable): Travelling from Cape Town: From N1 pass Edenburg and continue another 15km, take that turn-off left at Wurasoord sign and keep left. OR From Bloem, N1 pass Tom’s Place and take Reddersburg/ Wurasoord turn-off. Turn Right and cross highway onto dirt road. On dirt road drive 1,5km to railway tracks.300 Meters after railway tracks there is a fork in the road, keep left for 22 km. At exactly 22,3km Goshen’s sign (tiny little sign on your right) is on the right. Turn in there over a low bridge and continue for app 5 km. You will drive through 5 gates, some are cattle gates. The last silver gate is a sliding gate (manual). Drive straight on to the homestead and hoot, staff will be awaiting your arrival 🌿🦒🐎
Situated on a private game farm, our units are built on the river bank of the Tierpoort river. Various activities are offered, amongst horse riding, canoeing, hiking, jet skiing and quad biking. We have tremendous fishing facilities including a well-stocked bass dam.
