Our house is situated half way up Forest Hill Road in Simons Town so you have a panoramic view across False Bay from the balcony. Our beautiful house has been converted into two apartments and the full renovation was completed in March 2023. We offer you a comfortable home and warm hospitality from our family. Each apartment on the property has its own entrance with it own private balcony. There is a small garden with BBQ facilities for your use. Combine this with the nature and beauty all around the house and you will have a true South African experience. On the topic of nature. It is not uncommon to find porcupines, penguins and baboons on the property. Please do check under your car for penguins when driving off and please close your windows when leaving the house as the baboons are always looking for a snack. PLEASE NOTE there are 3 dogs living on the property, Missy, Jimmy and Billie.
Hilary lives on the premises and is available to assist our guests.
House on the Hill is situated next to the Old Maritime Burial Grounds. Boulders Beach and Waves Edge beach are within walking distance. Waves Edge is closer and our personal favourite. We recommend the Yacht Club Restaurant in Simons Town and Olympia Cafe in Kalk Bay, these are our go to restaurants.
