Karoo Manor Guest House and Restaurant is housed in a Heritage Site, built between 1845 and 1870. The manor has the original wooden floors intact and the rooms are large and spacious. We have two family rooms and five double rooms. Two double rooms and our family rooms that can accommodate three or five guests are situated in our Annex directly across the road from the main Manor where we have three double rooms that can accommodate two people.. The guest house is the only one in Richmond with a fully licenced a la carte restaurant on site for our guests convenience., and we are open on Saturdays and Sundays when all other eateries are closed. The restaurant can seat 40 guests (weather allowing) with both indoor and outdoor dining facilities. The outside dining area is under a 140 year old vine. In bad weather we can seat 20 inside the restaurant. We have safe off street parking available and our property is fully fenced. All rooms feature Wi fi for streaming TV on your laptop/mobile, air-conditioning, roof fans and an en-suite bathroom. The premises are secure and surrounded by walls and fencing which offers you secure parking and the use of the garden. We have security cameras covering all aspects of the Manor. Breakfast can be arranged at an additional cost per person, to be served between 07:30am and 08:30am.

Richmond is an old, historic town known as the 'Book Town' of South Africa with some large book collections on offer. The museum is interesting and the town presents some of the best examples of Karoo Architecture in the area.
