Lavender Lane presents a charming self-catering cottage situated in the serene residential neighborhood of Loerie Park within George. Our cottage is thoughtfully designed for your convenience, boasting solar panels to ensure an uninterrupted power supply. This idyllic retreat is conveniently located near the George Dam, Glenwood Golf Course, and the Garden Route Mall. The cottage comprises two generously sized bedrooms, accommodating up to four guests comfortably - one king-sized bed and two single beds. The bathroom is equipped with both a bathtub and a shower. Our kitchen is fully outfitted with essential appliances, including a fridge, microwave, and stove, allowing you to prepare meals at your leisure. Inside, you'll find seating for four individuals, while an outdoor balcony offers additional seating, perfect for savoring al fresco moments. We also provide barbecue facilities for your culinary adventures. Furthermore, we've implemented eco-friendly features such as solar panels, a gas heater, rechargeable lights, and an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) to mitigate the impact of electricity interruptions in South Africa. To secure your reservation, a 50% deposit is required.

Gavin and Lindsay renovated Lavender Lane self-catering cottage in 2015. It was named after Lindsay's love and passion for fields of lavender after her visit to the South of France. We relocated from Johannesburg with our two sons in 2008 and have never looked back. We love the peace and tranquility associated with living in the Garden Route and hope that visitors will experience a taste of this when they stay at Lavender Lane. Lavender Lane is ideally positioned close to the mountains, George dam, botanical gardens, beaches, Glenwood golf course and shopping mall. It is close to the Go George Bus Route for those who wish to explore more of our beautiful city. Lavender Lane offers a peaceful atmosphere, with spacious rooms that are tastefully decorated. It is the ideal place to stay for families or couples planning a holiday, a business trip or a longer holiday. We look forward to meeting you.

Lavender Lane is in a quiet, peaceful, residential neighbourhood. It is within walking distance to the George Dam, which is a popular walking, running and cycling route. We are also within walking distance to the local Go George Bus Route, which is linked to town and the Garden Route Mall. Loerie Park is close to Glenwood House Preparatory School and is 10 minutes drive from the famous swimming and surfing beach, Victoria Bay. The local Outeniqua Market is open every Saturday morning and is less than 10 minutes drive from Lavender Lane.
