Jardin de la Ferme, which means the “garden farm”, is nestled within the foothills of Franschhoek. The farm was chosen for its perfect location and 360-degree views of the Franschhoek Valley that unravels for miles. The lushness of its green undulating landscape makes you feel as if you have fallen into a French “Ville”. Set on eight hectares of farmland, the property comprises beautiful manicured French-style gardens, rolling vineyards, horse paddocks, fresh water dams, The “Chateau” Manor House, two contemporary cottages and an additional four farm-style accommodation units.

Building has always been a passion for my husband and I. He has the vision to create beautiful spaces and gardens, providing the platform for me to execute my décor and interior inspirations. Having a young family, we wanted to find idyllic settings that could take us away from the city life and allow our kids to explore and find the beauty in nature. After sourcing a few dream locations, we re-built these beautiful homes to call them “ours”.

“Franschhoek has always been one of our favourite places in Cape Town. It has a French tone that allures us there with its romantic feeling and transports us into a European world. It is about food, wine, culture and art. Incredible to be able to enjoy all of these things in one little town. Jardine De La Ferme sits perfectly in the centre of Franschhoek, allowing one to take in all of the magnificent views of the valley and its mountain ranges”.
