The Franschhoek Wine Tram, a very popular tourism experience, is only a minute walk away.
If you want to grab something to eat, you have a variety of options available to you after a 5 minute walk:
- Col Cacchios Pizza (great for families)
- Station Pub (Local hangout with great pizza and beer and sometimes live music)
- Riverside Cafe (excellent burgers)
Best beer in town: Hey Joe Brewing Co.
There is a market every Saturday in town - be sure to check it out!
There are also many art galleries and museums to visit in Franschhoek
Walking is the best way to see the town. Everything is a maximum 15 minute walk away and I can even direct you to a fantastic public park if you want to go for a picnic.
