Nestled in the middle of vineyards and open farmlands, our hidden gem offers a rustic and tranquil retreat surrounded by ever-changing landscapes. With the gentle sound of a stream flowing through the property and wide open views, it's a haven for those seeking peace and simplicity. Our smallholding has a charming, authentic farm feel — quiet, cozy, and immersed in nature. Whether relaxing outside or on the deck, enjoying a sunset over the fields, or stargazing at night, the serenity is real. Though it feels far away from it all, we're just 10 minutes from local shops and conveniences and only 20 minutes from Montagu and the famous Route 62. The perfect base to unwind or explore.
At the end of 2023, we made the heartfelt decision to settle in the countryside with our two young boys. Our dream was simple: to offer them a slower, more connected way of living — closer to nature, rooted in simplicity, and filled with everyday beauty. Since then, we’ve been lovingly shaping this little piece of land into our Petit Paradis; a peaceful, rustic haven where birdsong replaces traffic, and children grow up running barefoot through the fields. We believe in sharing what we love, and we warmly welcome fellow nature lovers to experience the calm and charm of this space we now call home.
We’re part of a small, welcoming community of local farmers who have lived in this area for generations. It’s a peaceful and very safe environment, where life follows the gentle rhythm of the land. Guests often enjoy walking freely around the area . You can explore up to 10 km on quiet country roads all the way to the far corner of the valley, surrounded by vineyards, mountains, and farmland. It’s a perfect place to reconnect with nature, breathe deeply, and slow down.
