Liesel and Hannes live on site in a separate home away from the guesthouse - ready to assist but also respectful of your privacy. We both have backgrounds in environmental sciences and have a keen interest in the ecology, biodiversity and sustainability of our desert area. We love nature! We frequently visit the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park and will gladly assist visitors with information and tips. We also have more than 22 years' experience in the hospitality industry and are more than willing to assist in planning of routes and travel itineraries, wherever you may be travelling to.

Libby's Lodge is very easy to find and is situated in a tranquil, safe suburban area close to restaurants, schools and a major shopping mall. We are also less than a km from the Mediclinic and Eye day hospital. The guesthouse has a unique cottage style feel, with each well-equipped unit having its own character and being very private. All units are equipped with air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. All units have outside patio areas close to the garden and pool - ideal for utilizing perfect yearlong sunshine and blue skies weather. Here you can soak up the sun during the day and relax with a glass of wine whilst star gazing in the evening. We have perfect outdoor living weather conditions - guests are welcome to braai/barbeque. Our beautiful green garden is home to a variety of wild garden birds. A real home away from home! All parking is onsite behind electronic gates and electrified fences. We can provide additional safe parking space for trailers and offroad caravans (subject to availability). Libby's Lodge has been operating close to 22 years! We have loads of experience in the hospitality industry - our focus is the comfort and wellbeing of all our guests. Although we specialize in typical country-styled South African breakfasts, we also cater for vegetarian/vegan and halaal meals.

Libby's Lodge is the perfect stop to relax prior to visiting the Kgalagadi, Richtersveld, Namibia, Namaqualand and West coast areas. All shopping can be done at the Kalahari Mall, which is less than 2km from the guesthouse. Our guesthouse is easy to access and is situated in a very safe and quiet neighborhood. There is a restaurant, coffee shop (walking distance), hospital, doctors and fuel station in close proximity to us. This makes Libby's Lodge perfect for both business and holiday travelers.
