St Helena Bay is one of the world's principal fishing centers, with the cold Benguela current that surges upwards along this part of the coast bringing nutrient-rich waters to the bay resulting in the abundant sea life. St Helena Bay is also a popular tourist destination during spring, when the wildflowers are in season. Piccolo Villa is situated 5m from the shore on the Western Coast of South Africa.
