Port Royale Beach Cottage - This up-market two bedroom beach cottage is suitable for self-catering on a beach front property in Shelly Beach on the South Coast. This stand-alone cottage on a large property is separate from the main house and has everything your heart desires for a fantastic holiday. There is WIFI, DSTV, AIR-CON as well as your own private swimming pool. There is a private beach path leading down to a grassy lawn and directly onto the pristine beach. It boasts a nautical theme of days gone by, characterised by sturdy wood cladding inside and out throughout the lower level, reminiscent of mighty seafaring “galleons”. Step aboard and let the adventure begin... Stepping out of the lounge and gallery area there is the Kraken Bar, and braai area. The deck is the perfect outdoor recreational area to soak up the sun and cool off in your own private pool. At first sight, on the lower level, you’ll be drawn to the heavy wooden double entrance doors that are a feature all to their own, boasting brass portholes and custom-made blacksmith fittings, enticing one to venture inside and explore the realm of Buccaneers Quarters. A comfortable two-seater weathered leather lounge suite. Downstairs is a fully equipped kitchenette with a movable butcher’s block and a quaint round table with 4 chairs. The lower deck main bedroom has a lavishly laid out queen-size bed, powerful air conditioner, ceiling fan, large TV with full DSTV bouquet, Wi-Fi, separate entrance, as well as an open-plan shower. UPSTAIRS is the second bedroom that has two single beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. it is also been equipped with an air-conditioner, fridge, a small table and two chairs and a TV. Please Note: The cleaning fee that you are charged is for the preparation and cleaning of the unit before you arrive and after you leave. Daily cleans are available at an extra charge. No smoking is permitted in the home and strictly NO PARTIES allowed.

Exiting the weather deck is made possible via a private, paved jungle walkway. Curious sailors can wander through the Admirals private gardens to a glorious grassy open boulevard raised above sea level, offering a feast for the eyes. The beautiful, warm Indian Ocean presents itself with immaculate splendor. One can either relax on the Sleeper benches and take in the 180-degree views or nip down the private beach stairway straight onto the sand. Shelly Beach is a small seaside town that is a very popular for scuba-diving, shark cage diving, deep-sea fishing and ski boat fun rides as well as dolphin and whale watching trips. Shelly beach is also the shopping hub of the area. It boasts two beautiful centres, the Shelly Beach Centre and the South Coast Mall. Everything you need for the perfect holiday with all the large chain stores and restaurants as well as surf shops and other speciality stores. Oribi Gorge is about 50km away and offers the longest zip-line in Africa. One can also go mountain biking, hiking, white water rafting, and visit the nature reserve, the Wild Coast Sun is also within 50km.
