The Little Hideaway is a family run business, which means "a guest is just not a guest"; once you leave you become part of the family. Our guests may arrive as strangers but we make sure that they depart as friends. Roland has owned the property for over 20 years and is originally from Germany and entertains guests for hours on stories past about Stellenbosch and surrounds. Interesting fact: The Guesthouse was previously named after him and was called Rolands Rendezvous before it changed in 2020 to The Little Hideaway. Suzanne his wife has run the guesthouse with him side by side; guests usually compliment her on her friendly, positive attitude and her scrumptious, tasty breakfast. Bernie the youngest in the team, who recently joined in 2020 after 10 years abroad, comes with years of international experience in hospitality. Her love for travel, wine, hiking, people, food and entertaining comes all in to play when guests need to know where to eat, drink, dance and what other activities there is to do in this great town called Stellenbosch. Most guests make the mistake of coming for 1 night, you need at least 4 nights in this great town.

Surrounded by breathtaking mountains and historic wine farms this charming 3-star guesthouse is nestled in a quiet corner of Stellenbosch just 40 min drive from Cape Town and 5 minutes from Stellenbosch central. The spacious individually styled guesthouse rooms are equipped with fridge, microwave, coffee/tea making facilities and flat screen TV, all with private entrances and en-suite bathrooms. Perfect for couples, families and friends. Our Garden Pool room is our only self catering unit with Kitchenette and utensils; and 3 of our rooms can sleep up to 4 Adults or 2 Adults + 2 Children. Wifi is complimentary throughout the property. Our lapa with Braai is enjoyed by all guests and is complimented by our beautiful garden. The heart of the property is our huge salt pool, where you spend your days lazing and catching some African sun after you enjoyed a few hours at the amazing surrounding wine farms.
