Rosedale organic farm and guest house is located within a 15-minute drive from Addo Elephant National Park. Eco-friendly rooms and a natural rock pool are surrounded by citrus fruit trees and native gardens. All of the thatched-roof rooms at Rosedale Organic Farm Bed & Breakfast have a private entrance and are powered by renewable energy resources. Each includes heating and a fan, tea/coffee facilities and a private bathroom with chemical-free toiletries. Organic homemade breads and fresh orange juice is available from an extensive buffet breakfast each morning. There is a barbecue on site and Addo is within a 5-minute drive from several restaurants and bakeries. A tour desk can help arrange local excursions to Addo Wildlife Centre (4 km) or game drives in Scotia Safaris Game Farm (24 km). Port Elizabeth Airport is a 60 km drive away.

Company information

The farm is fully operational and we grow citrus for local and export markets. We bought the farm in 1996 and built the accommodation units in 2008. The B&B is run by Nondumiso and Keith runs the farm.

Property information

We are an organic (Bio) citrus farm with 8 rooms to rent. 11km to the Addo National Elephant Park main camp. Freshly squeezed organic orange juice for breakfast when citrus in in season - March to October. We have installed solar hot water geysers with electrical backup. Also solar PV and batteries, so you will always have lights and hot water.

Neighbourhood information

Addo is situated in the Sundays River Valley, and important Citrus producing area, and home to the famous Addo elephants. There are a number of good local restaurants and interesting options for visitors to the area.
