The Schelde Apartment is a private, quiet, open plan apartment with its own private entrance, large sea facing windows letting in lovely morning sun and a view of the ocean in the distance. Sunrise is from 6 to 7 am in Winter and that is such a beautiful sight. It is within walking distance to many lovely restaurants, the main beach, surf spots, shopping and entertainment areas. Thirty second walk to the lovely Infood coffee shop, so practically breakfast at your fingertips. We lived in the apartment for many years and set it up to suit our needs, the large spacious lounge area with built in Braai makes it an awesome place to chill and relax. The apartments total floor space is 83.5 square meters. There is a lovely diningroom table for socials with a full kitchen. We have a small Dstv package, DVD player with a selection of DVD'S, games, books and toys for those colder days. The spacious bedroom has large cupboards, modern ensuite bathroom with a queen bed. There is a further double bunk in the living area. There is off the road parking at the bottom of the stairs to the apartment.

We are a surfing family living in one of SA's most beautiful surfing spots, if water sports are your thing then Jeffreys Bay with its quality waves, excellent fishing and pristine beaches make it a destination one should visit. My husband and two sons are surfers. A simple walk on the beach is just food for the soul. I on the other hand enjoy hiking, walking on the beach and animals. I often enjoy a yoga session with Spirals yoga studio, Marie is an amazing yoga instructor.

The apartment is located two streets away from the centre of town, and two blocks from the main beach in a beautiful quiet trendy street lined with massive palm trees. The beach is a short 5 min walk away, with many funky restaurants and bars within a 10 minute walk which makes our accommodation a very convenient place to stay. Right next door is a lovely coffee shop with the tastiest of food/deli and bakery. Further afield there are, game parks, beach horse rides, pristine beaches, excellent fishing spots and additional attractions like the Jeffreys Bay Surf Village where most of the major surf clothing brands are represented with factory shops. A couple of meters down the road in Infood restaurant and coffee shop. A stunning place for coffee and a bite to eat. Around the corner is Brewhaha, a brewery with their blonde beer being my favourite. Dont forget to learn how to surf in JBay - many surf schools to choose from! We have a book with all the things to do in Jbay. Go for a walk and collect some shells with a refreshing dip in the ocean along the way.
