Our holiday home on the canals at St Francis is newly renovated, changing the roof from thatch to aluminium and adding a new upstairs sun room. These exciting renovations have freshened and lightened up the entire house. This holiday home is ideal for family and friends with large spacious areas to entertain and relax right on the canal. With your boat moored at the jetty in front of you and a convenient sundowner deck over the water you have everything at your fingertips! A short walk across the road takes you down a little access path to the river as well so we are perfectly positioned with canal frontage for the sunsets and the river for stunning morning sunrises. Our home has been decorated with good solid furniture that is not fussy thereby allowing you to relax with your family and friends without having to run around stressing about cup marks etc on the tables. Our couches are large and comfortable and with the upstairs "pajama TV lounge" there is ample space for youngsters to lounge around on the two queen beds. The water flowing past us in the canal is a moving tide so is not stagnant and great for swimming. Our undercover braai area is perfect for any weather.

Over the past years we have loved owning and renting this special holiday home in St Francis Bay. We value every holiday guest and are always excited to open our home to them. We live in Cape Town and own and run two other holiday homes here, so in St Francis we have a 24 hour key collection point with self check in for the convenience of our guests. When we get the chance to stay in St Francis we are keen fishermen and boaters and love cycling and taking long walks along the many various places such as the wildside fynbos walk in Cape St Francis, the Port Walk and Two Harbour's Walk and of course all the beach walks. We also love the bush and visiting Addo Elephant Park as well as bird watching. Although we are not surfers we love to watch the surfers and support and cheer on all the paddling athletes passing the house. The best thing about St Francis is there is just nothing like it when it comes to relaxing and recharging your batteries! It is our special place in this world and value any time we get to spend here and we wish every guest this same sense of peace and rejuvenation.

St Francis is famous for surfing but if you are not a surfer there are still endless activities and if you don't want to be active there is no better place to be to relax! Canal cruises and fishing and swimming are also the obvious wonderful activities but try a boat ride up river and you will be surprised how the countryside changes and you end up in a remote canyon like area with cliffs on either side of the river. If you have sharp eyes spot fish eagles and little buck that come to the rivers edge. St Francis Bay and Cape St Francis have some exciting restaurants in the area and fabulous walks. (The Two Harbour's Walk, The Wildside fynbos Walk and beach walks.) There are many restaurants, Italian, Greek, The Rose Garden, Nevermind, The Brewery just to mention a few. The house is wonderful for gatherings of friends and family but we do ask guests to be considerate with noise levels even during the day as our neighbours are all very close by.
