Company information

Dewald and Erika are your hosts at Ta Mala's cottage. Erika, a well known SA artist are responsible for the interior of all the cottages. The couple entered Meerkat Cottage into home magazine's Fix it with flair competition in 2015 and were runners up in the competition. They both entered into KykNet and Home Magazine's 123 Fixit, a home renovation competition, which was broadcasted on Kyknet's Via channel and won the competition outright.

Property information

Tamala's cottage was originally build in 1860. Features like wooden floors, thatch roofing and reid ceilings has been preserved. Meerkat cottage was build in the early 1800 and is well over 200 years old. This quant little cottage is a gem from the past, preserved to enjoy today. Tamala's is a Cape heritage site. The cottages are fully self catering and furnished with antiques true to the Karoo.
