The Sanctuary is a spacious self-catering home situated in Mabalingwe Nature Reserve, with 4 of the Big 5 right on your doorstep. Accommodating up to 10 guests (adults and children) in 3 en-suite bedrooms, the house has a fully equipped kitchen and open plan living areas with a 10-seater dining table, comfortable couches and wood fireplace. Guests can also enjoy the pristine outdoor pool, lush gardens and boma braai facilities. DSTV, WiFi and an Inverter all add to the comfort of your stay.

Situated on a private game farm, Itaga, within the 9,000 hectare Mabalingwe Nature Reserve. Game drives take place in an open game vehicle with an experienced guide. You may encounter rhino, elephants, leopard, buffalo, brown hyena, black backed jackal, giraffe, zebra, eland, gemsbok, blesbok, impala, kudu, nyala, wildebeest, warthog, baboons and more! We are situated in a game reserve with free roaming animals including 4 of the big 5 (rhino, elephant, leopard & buffalo). You may encounter these animals while travelling to The Sanctuary. The reserve roads are dirt roads, however they are well maintained and traversable in most vehicles. Please note that self-driving on the property is not permitted. Itaga is a private game reserve for our guests. Day visitors are not normally permitted. Plenty of Free Parking is available for your stay at The Sanctuary.
