Tranquil, private, 10 minutes from muizenberg beach, situated on the sandvlei bird sanctuary where you can hike, canoe, windsurf, cycle. Halfway between Cape Town city and Cape Point. Own, private garden with barbecue and safe parking behind elec gates. Close to woolworths, pick n pay and checkers shops. Free and fast WiFi 24/7, pool and man cave where you can also entertain and braai. Fully equipped kitchen with microwave, stove, oven, gas cooker and fridge. Bathroom with shower and bath, separate loo. Free bikes to ride around the area or down to the beach. We have 2 friendly dogs and a cat on the property, but your private garden area is enclosed, so you don’t have to interact with them if you don’t want to (although most people love having them around). Fishpond in your garden, with table, chairs and umbrella. Public transport within walking distance. Catch the train to kalk bay for the day or to muizenberg surfing beach. Great security. Fairy lights at night for a romantic evening. Super comfy bed and top linen. Pool towels available. And we are very friendly hosts. :)

Local markets, the best beaches to visit, golf course not far and great pubs and restaurants.
Quiet, friendly neighborhood on sandvlei estuary, below a mountain and close to muizenberg beach, the ideal beach to learn to surf. Take a walk from muizenberg past st James beach to kalk bay on the catwalk along the sea. Or okay hold at west lake golf course. Visit the quaint shops and great restaurants, coffee bars and pubs in the mouse berg village or at Kalk Bay. There’s also the local bluebird market with fresh produce, homemade food and top coffee and beers. Very popular with locals and visitors. Once a year we host the kite festival and if you like hiking up mountains, there’s one just behind us.
